This acquisition accelerates Unica's vision for delivering enterprise marketing management solutions that improve results across all channels and operations for brand, interactive and relationship marketing. Unica made the decision after looking at Sane Solution's open data architecture, ease of use and on-premise and hosted deployment options earned them a loyal customer base.
XML ELECTRONIC QUOTING FOR SMALL COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS
Seattle-based Safeco Corp. and Chicago-based InsuranceNoodle Inc. have teamed up to conduct XML electronic quoting. InsuranceNoodle has implemented XML quoting for several commercial insurers, including The Hartford and St. Paul Travelers. Insurance-Noodle foresees this technology helping provide its network of independent insurance agents with Safeco quotes for small-commercial accounts within 10 seconds-a 95% improvement over current processing times.
SIRCON PARTNERS WITH PIA TO OFFER ONLINE SERVICES
Sircon Corp., Okemos, Mich., has partnered with Alexandria, Va.-based National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) to provide online services at a special rate to all PIA members via Sircon's Compliance Express platform. PIA members can now go to a co-branded Web site for online services such as e-license applications (resident and non-resident), e-license renewals, real-time letters of certification, continuing education transcripts, and name and address changes.
