Allied World says Michael Conroy has been appointed VP of construction to oversee the build-out of the new division. He will be based in Allied World's New York office and will report directly to Lou Iglesias, president, U.S. property/casualty.

Conroy has more than 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, according to Allied World.
