American Property Insurance Co., a Harbor Specialty Insurance firm and provider of commercial lines insurance, has selected Insured Rating, a rating engine from ClarionDoor, a developer of rating and quoting solutions.
American Property Insurance Co. (API) sought a modern rating solution that would incorporate ISO content and handle general liability and commercial property business, ClarionDoor said. Implemented in less than 60 days, Insured Rating is accessed by API's underwriters for rating and quoting of New Jersey risks. As an ISO Electronic Rating Content Associate, ClarionDoor will be using ISO's electronic content for rating purposes, and will provide integration to several other third-party applications, streamlining API's rating process.
Insured Rating is a rating engine platform developed from the ground, up, to operate, perform, and scale in the cloud, ClarionDoor said. The technology suite provides all the tools and services necessary for rating any line of business, algorithm or transaction type.
