Compare.com has announced the addition of Amica Mutual Insurance Company to its growing list of insurers providing rates on its website.
Amica Mutual will begin offering quotes to P&C insurance shoppers in California and Texas this month and will expand to other states in the near future, the companies said.
“Adding a highly respected and award-winning national company like Amica to our carrier panel is really exciting for us,” said compare.com CEO Andrew Rose, in a statement. “Amica is one of the top 25 largest carriers for both auto and home insurance, which brings to our website the ability to provide competitive rates backed by a well-recognized brand.”
The aggregator site currently combines quotes from 80 insurance carriers, providing policy rates side by side. Users enter personal information once to receive various rates and are then connected directly with an insurance carrier via phone or online if they wish to purchase a policy.
