AXIS Insurance will be the new national program underwriter for Aon Attorneys Advantage, Aon Affinity’s professional liability insurance program for law firms.
The Aon Attorneys Advantage program, underwritten by the member companies of the AXIS group of insurance companies, offers law firms Lawyers Professional Liability Insurance; non-practicing extended reporting period at no additional cost, including the “grandfathering” of current Aon Attorneys Advantage insureds; additional claim expense of up to $500,000 that helps preserve the limits of liability; privacy breach coverage, which now includes forensic analysis and credit monitoring; and part-time rates and coverage available for attorneys not practicing full time.
“We have a diversified and successful LPL business, and the Aon Attorneys Advantage program is a natural complement for us to further increase our penetration of the market,” said Peter Wilson, CEO of AXIS Insurance. “With in-depth experience, we have been collaborating with Aon to develop competitive product and service offerings available through this program for law firms with one to 25 attorneys.”
Aon Risk Solutions has appointed new leadership in its U.S. Financial Services Group. Brian Wanat will serve as CEO for the U.S. Financial Services Group. Wanat previously served as co-leader for the group. Christine Williams will serve as COO for the U.S. Financial Services Group.
Anne Corona, in addition to leading the Professional Risk Solutions Group, will assume leadership of the U.S. Financial Services Group West region, overseeing Denver, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and San Francisco. Robbyn Reichman, Esq., and Jacqueline Waters Urban, Esq., will assume co-leadership of the Legal and Claims practice group. Paul Kim will lead the U.S. Financial Services Group business development and product innovation.
