Chicago - Aon Consulting, the human capital consulting organization of Chicago-based Aon Corp., report that Anne Kemp and Kathleen Skapik have joined the electronic discovery business unit. This unit is part of the IT Risk Consulting group, a division of the company's Financial Advisory and Litigation Consulting Services practice.
Aon Consulting's e-discovery unit provides clients worldwide with customized solutions that include data collection, preservation, conversion, processing and hosting; digital data management; large-scale data warehousing; data mining and analytics; relationship/pattern identification and analysis; and multiple web-based tools to facilitate document review and production.
Kemp, who joins Aon Consulting's San Francisco office as the co-national leader of litigation management services, has more than 20 years of experience in litigation support and discovery management, and has assisted clients in developing litigation management strategies for numerous high-profile cases, including the Unabomber and the Erin Brockovich chromium 6 environmental matter. Kemp focuses her current practice on the delivery of strategic advice to corporations and law firms in the areas of risk management, litigation preparedness, compliance and retention systems, and electronic discovery.
Skapik, a vice president in Aon Consulting's Chicago-based electronic discovery unit, has more than 28 years of experience in computerized litigation support. Skapik joins Aon Consulting from Compulit, a Pitney Bowes Company. While at Compulit, Skapik was responsible for expanding the company's electronic discovery, Web hosting consulting and litigation support services. She has worked closely with many of the top 250 law firms and Fortune 500 companies to devise organization and management strategies of electronic and paper files for litigation preparedness and evidentiary materials.
