The updated mobile application, according to Assurant, is now available at no cost to iPhone and Android users, providing consumers with additional capabilities. The app attempts to improve the usability of Find-a-Dentist and Find-an-Eye-Doctor functions. Relying on Google Maps technology, the app connects smartphone users with dentists and eye doctors either close to their current location or in their zip code of choice.
The redesigned app is designed to allow users to view their insurance cards on the screen of your smartphones, as well as print, fax or email the cards to their dentists. Assurant also says the updated app also allows customers to connect with Assurant Employee Benefits via Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and YouTube. In addition, customers can connect with customer advocacy or Assurant Employee Benefits’ technical support via phone or email.
