For the first six months of the year, the Watertown, Mass.-based vendor, which sells Web-based revenue cycle management and electronic health records software and professional services to group practices, saw net income increase 17% to $5.4 million. Revenue in the first half grew 42% to $88.8 million.
The company reported that more than 20,000 providers, including physicians and other clinicians, used its billing-related services in the second quarter, up almost 50% from a year earlier. By comparison, 1,050 providers used its remotely hosted electronic health records and related services, about double from a year earlier.
