ATLANTA-- Connecture, a leading provider of integrated Web-based sales and service automation solutions for the health insurance industry, announced it has signed a national agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), the association for the nation's 41 independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance Plans, which collectively insure more than 88.3 million Americans.
Through this agreement Connecture, which is currently contracted at several BCBSA member plans, will work with BCBSA to offer its members Connecture's industry proven health insurance sales automation solutions as well as provide education based on Connecture's experience in successfully implementing web-based distribution strategies.

Under this agreement, Connecture will offer its Web-based solutions that automate and streamline the entire sales process, including sales, underwriting, enrollment, fulfillment, renewals and group maintenance, across all product lines and sales channels. Deployed Connecture solutions at a variety of health insurance organizations have resulted in increased online sales in excess of 45%, reduced quote to enrollment turnaround time in excess of 40%, and reduced sales / underwriting / fulfillment costs exceeding 30%.
