Beazley acquires kWh Analytics

McGill and Partners and AIG launch strategic collaboration using AI
McGill and Partners and American International Group announced a strategic collaboration for the subscription market that will use agentic AI capabilities to manage the deployment of insurance capacity. AIG conducted a detailed analysis of McGill and Partners' specialty portfolio and created underwriting criteria to enable real-time underwriting through McGill and Partners' digital broking platform.
AIG collaborated with Palantir to build an ontology of McGill and Partners' portfolio, launched in 2019. Using McGill and Partners' digital broking platform and Palantir's Foundry platform, AIG will access near real-time data analysis on business underwritten, including exposure, limit deployment, modeled risk outputs and loss information, allowing the company to manage performance and capacity deployment on an ongoing basis.

The Hartford has appointed Jaclyn Fortino as head of inland marine, reporting to Marc Gantar, the company's head of vertical industries. Fortino brings 22 years of experience with The Hartford, most recently serving as regional vice president for the central and western divisions of inland marine.
