BerkleyNet, a member company of W. R. Berkley Corporation specializing in workers’ compensation insurance delivered through the Internet, announced the appointment of Kanchana Sarathy as VP and CIO.
Sarathy has more than 15 years of experience in implementing technology solutions and managing IT groups and holds a Masters in Information Technology (MIT) from Virginia Tech, the insurer said.
“Kanchana’s leadership of our information technology group is an important component of our success at BerkleyNet,” said John Goldwater, president and CEO of BerkleyNet. “Her experience in the industry will serve us well as we continue to expand our technological capabilities.”
