As of press time, the company has successfully rolled out their new commercial auto product in Texas, with several other states following. In addition, BHHC has acquired the Duck Creek Billing solution to add to its technology replacement project, with plans to implement this solution across all commercial lines of business.
This replacement legacy policy administration project is modernizing BHHC's technology base so they can leverage their market strategy--bringing new products to market faster with a configurable flexible system and streamlining their policy management process.
"Duck Creek was selected as our partner because we wanted an integrated policy administration solution that was capable of combining a traditional ISO rating approach for some lines of business, with non-traditional proprietary rating algorithms for others. In addition, the ability to develop our own workflow processes and maintain the system ourselves is a huge advantage,” BHHC CEO Rod Eldred commented. “The increased operational effectiveness of Duck Creek's Web enablement will provide our agents with the ability to quickly quote, bind and issue. We are pleased with the progress of our modernization project and with the addition of Duck Creek Billing, now our solutions will share one platform--systems will be consolidated. The billing front-end is impressive and the integration ease with the policy administration system will help streamline our processes."
Steve Hall, CEO at Duck Creek, noted that “this is a significant commitment that reaffirms our focus and unique expertise in the Property and Casualty insurance sector. We look forward to working closely with BHHC to ensure a speedy deployment and achievement of their current and future business goals."
