BGL, an insurance intermediary, has selected Intradiem’s management technology to give front office agents a way to process back-office work, Intradiem said. BGL also has partnered with Datapoint, a call center communications company, and eg solutions plc. to provide a solution to integrate the eg operational intelligence software suite.

Intradiem says its management technology was integrated with eg’s solutions and BGL’s other contact center technology to deploy back-office work during agent available time. BGL selected the Intradiem product because 70 percent of policies sold would require BGL to verify proof for the No Claims Discount. The workload increase would have required the hiring of 25 additional back office employees.

Intradiem says BGL has set the stage for long-term benefits such as 1 million pounds in overall, annual cost savings; customer satisfaction; and agent satisfaction.
