Thomas Minkler, CIC, has been inaugurated as chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (Big "I"), with David Walker as chairman-elect, Randy Lanoix as vice chairman and Joseph Leahy as an at-large executive committee member.
Minkler, CIC, is president of the Clark-Mortenson Agency and a past chairman of the New Hampshire Association of Insurance Agents, past New Hampshire director on the Big “I” national board, and past president of the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents.
Walker, CIC, AAI, LIC, ARM, is president of Hartland Insurance Agency. He joined Hartland as a producer and rose through its ranks.
Lanoix is president of Lanoix Insurance Agency. Lanoix served as president of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Louisiana in 2001 and as the Louisiana representative on the Big “I” national board of directors.
Leahy is co-owner and founder of Leahy and Brown Insurance + Realty Inc. He and his wife, Frances, started the agency in 1989. Bobby Bramlett will serve on the committee as immediate past chair for one year. He is president & CEO of Bramlett Agency.
