ChoicePoint Acquires Priority Data Systems, Expands Services to Agents, Insurers

ALPHARETTA, Ga.--ChoicePoint today announced its acquisition of Priority Data Systems, based in Omaha, Neb., a provider of comparative rating software solutions to the independent insurance agency market.  Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The addition of Priority Data Systems further strengthens ChoicePoint's position as the personal lines industry's premier provider of the most complete and integrated array of insurance products and services to companies and agents.

"Priority Data Systems' 25 years of service to the independent insurance market, technology leadership and strong commitment to customer service are a great complement to ChoicePoint," said Richard Collier, vice president, ChoicePoint Property & Casualty personal lines.

The transaction is not expected to have a material impact on ChoicePoint's financial results.  The company does not expect the acquisition to be dilutive to earnings.
