Citizens Property Insurance, the P&C insurance entity owned by the state of Florida, has deployed Guidewire’s InsuranceSuite as its underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims management platform as part of an organization-wide transformation initiative.
“Guidewire has been the right partner for our business transformation needs,” said Kelly Booten, chief of systems and operations for Citizens. “We fully migrated from our previous commercial systems. It’s been a strong success from an implementation perspective.”
The implementation project involved a total of 70 integration points and was deployed in four phases: claims and policy/billing for commercial lines, followed by claims and policy/billing for its personal lines.
“This helped us immensely in overcoming technical challenges along the way, and kept us on-time and on-budget over the course of our phased deployments,” said Constance Josef, enterprise program director, Citizens Property Insurance.
