CNA Agency Tech Leader Jumps to Broker Insureon

Belen Tokarski, a former  Insurance Networking News Women in Insurance Leadership winner, has joined Insureon, online provider of insurance for small businesses and independent contractors, as senior VP of operations. She will be responsible for customer service and operational excellence and report to Ted Devine, Insureon CEO.

"Belen is a remarkable talent possessing industry-leading technology skills with demonstrated performance in project management and operational effectiveness," Devine said. "Having someone of her talent who has led the technology and operational platform for a top-five small commercial insurance carrier reaffirms our commitment to continuing to build the industry-leading solution."

Previously, Tokarski held various positions at CNA; most recently VP automation strategy and agency solutions, which required her to oversee project management of major strategic initiatives, such as integrating automation capabilities into workflows and day-to-day support for CNA Central, Real Time Quoting, Commercial Lines Download and Policy Center.

"Belen's background in both information technology and business architecture makes her the ideal candidate to help Insureon scale its operations as it enters a substantively different growth phase," said Edgar Bronfman, Jr., co-chair of Insureon and managing partner of Accretive LLC, Insureon's majority owner, adding that Tokarski’s appointment will mean a new level of operational excellence to supporting freelancers and small businesses in the United States.

Tokarski is a graduate of Cornell College, B.S., and DePaul University, MBA, a Certified Business Architect and a member of the Business Architect Association.
