CNO adds new oversight role in IT

CNO Financial, parent to Bankers Life, Colonial Penn Life and Washington Financial, has named Patrick Bogan VP of IT strategy and operational excellence.

Bogan's new role includes oversight of service partners, strategy, process improvement and budget management. He joined CNO as a consultant in June 2018 and will continue reporting to Mike Mead, SVP and CIO. Mead replaced Bradley Bodell, who moved from CNO to Trustmark in mid-2018.

"His extensive insurance background will allow us to move CNO's IT team to a higher performing and efficient structure. With more than 20 years of experience in IT consulting, I am confident that he will help us accelerate performance to achieve exceptional results."

Bogan's experience includes stints with Worley Claims Services and Fuzion Analytics before joining CNO.
