Confie Seguros Acquires 3 Insurance Brokerages

Confie Seguros, a personal lines insurer, has acquired three insurance brokerages: James S. Sullivan Agency and Advanced Auto Insurance in New York, and Family Insurance in Texas.

Confie Seguros says that the addition of the agencies is part of its strategy to build out its geographic footprint throughout New York State and Texas.

James S. Sullivan Agency and Advanced Auto Insurance specialize in the delivery and service of personal lines and small commercial insurance products. Family Insurance is a provider of personal lines auto insurance, serving the Corpus Christi area through two retail locations.

"New York and Texas are key growth markets for Confie Seguros. We now have more than 47 locations and 140 employees in New York to service customers and place business with our insurance carrier partners," said Joe Waked, CEO of Confie Seguros. "In addition, Family Insurance builds on acquisitions in Texas earlier this year."
