Digital Insurance, an employee benefits-only agency, has acquired TurnKey Benefits Inc., an employee benefits firm based in Fort Mill, S.C. TurnKey now operates as part of Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA), a division of Digital Insurance, and will open the company’s first office in Charlotte, N.C.
Two TurnKey co-principals Shelley Stromple and Mark McLean, along with their team, have joined forces with DBA to provide clients expanded offerings and support.
“Bringing Shelley and Mark into the DBA fold strengthens our presence across the Carolina’s and the Southeast,” said Mike Sullivan, EVP and chief marketing officer of Digital Insurance. “TurnKey Benefits is highly regarded for its strategic approach to managing health care-related expenditures by compiling and interpreting data to develop cost-saving solutions for their clients. Digital’s emerging private exchange solution will also strengthen their competitive position in the marketplace,” added Sullivan.
