P&C core systems provider Duck Creek Technologies has acquired Yodil, a data management provider for insurers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Combining Yodil's software with Duck Creek's offerings will provide customers with a full set of insurance data stores, the companies say.
"Yodil’s vision has been to offer a core system for data,” said Frederick Waite, CEO of Yodil. "Being part of Duck Creek realizes that vision, and will empower carriers to gain accurate insights into their business from virtually all of the data resources they employ, internal and external.”
Sixty percent of Duck Creek was sold to Apax Partners, a private equity firm that also owns part of the agency management system company Agencyport,
