Esurance has selected Modus as its telematics vendor for the DriveSense program, which is deployed across the United States. Modus is providing its full-service UBI solution including logistics, integration, application development, data warehousing and support services.
Modus has been providing logistics, application development, and other business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, for large-scale deployments since 1999, and have large, commercially deployed UBI program experience. The DriveSense program powered by Modus is currently available in eight states.
Jon Inquimboy, product manager for the Esurance DriveSense program, said that "Modus provides us with a customized telematics solution for UBI that includes all the components we need to quickly roll out our DriveSense program and provide value and savings for our customers. Their capabilities allowed us to focus on what we do best, offering our customers useful online tools and technology that makes insurance easier and more transparent."
