EuroLife, a life, accident and health insurer based in Cyprus, has selected Sapiens ALIS, a policy administration platform, to replace the insurer’s legacy systems and support all life, health and investment lines of business.
The insurer selected the suite due to its modern technology, depth of functionality, flexibility and ability to support EuroLife’s diverse product portfolio, Sapiens said. Sapiens’ implementation approach -- including a path to self-sufficiency through a joint implementation effort, consultation and training -- also contributed to the decision to modernize its processing environment.
“We selected Sapiens because of the rich business functionality of its software and the professionalism and quality of the personnel,” said Savvas Sideras, Operations Manager at EuroLife. “We see a tremendous amount of value in Sapiens’ domain expertise and understanding of our business needs, as well as the cultural alignment between our organizations and the partnership spirit created.”
Sapiens said the anticipated benefits include:
Improved time to market for new products
Reduced IT costs associated with the support and maintenance of the legacy environment
A holistic view of the client in an omni-channel environment
The ability to leverage data to better serve and interface with customers
EuroLife is a subsidiary of the Bank of Cyprus Group.
