Everest Re Group has named Jonathan Zaffino president of Everest National Insurance Co./U.S. Insurance Operations, effective immediately.
Zaffino comes to Everest from Marsh & McLennan Companies, where he most recently served as president of the company’s Victor O. Schinnerer & Co. specialty underwriting management division. He also ran U.S. Casualty for Marsh from 2010 to 2013. Before that, he worked at ACE and Willis North America.
“We are very pleased to have an executive of Jon’s caliber join the Everest team,” said Dominic Addesso, president and CEO of Everest Re. “With his experience and knowledge of the industry, Jon will be instrumental in the continued success of our organization.”
Zaffino replaces Daryl Bradley, who is moving into a new role within Everest focused on international growth strategy.
