Farmers hires Westfield IT leader as new CIO

Farmers Insurance has named Paul Wilson its next CIO, effective Aug. 30, 2018.

Wilson joins Farmers from Westfield Insurance, where he had been Group IT Leader and CIO. He also spent 28 years in IT roles at Progressive. Wilson fills the role vacated by Ron Guerrier, who left Farmers to join Express Scripts.

Other top insurers naming new CIOs in 2018 include AIG and Nationwide.
