Farmers Mutual Selects Duck Creek For Web Quoting

Farmers Mutual Protective Association of Texas (RVOS) has selected Duck Creek Technologies' Example Platform for the development of a Web-based quoting and submission system. Future plans include utilizing the Example Platform for the implementation of a complete policy administration system.

Farmers Mutual, which offers a variety of personal and commercial product lines to its members, selected Duck Creek after an extensive three month evaluation process, including a month long Proof-of-Concept (POC) test.

Targeted for production use in the second quarter of 2005, the first phase of the project will focus on the development and implementation of a Web-based quoting system for Farmers Mutual's agents. In phase two, Farmers Mutual will implement Example TransACT, Duck Creek's policy administration extension.

"The intuitive tool set will allow us to put the power in the hands of our business users, and will enable us to become self-sufficient in the development and maintenance of our insurance products," said Farmers Mutual IT Manager David Jones. "The ability to handle any line of business, and integrate with third-party vendors for services such as credit-scoring and claims history, made the product suite very appealing.
