FCCI Brings In New CIO

FCCI Insurance Group named Paul Ayoub, former VP and CIO with Hastings Mutual Insurance, its new CIO and SVP this morning.

FCCI, a Sarasota, Fla.-based property/casualty insurer, is looking to provide independent agents with more tools for business, which will be Ayoub’s main objective, according to a statement from the company.

Ayoub brings more than 28 years of P&C industry experience with him to the job. Most recently with Hastings, but Ayoub has been SVP and CIO at Employers Holdings, Inc; SVP and CIO at PMA Capital Corporation; and VP of corporate systems at CIGNA.

According to FCCI, Ayoub joins the company while it’s in the midst of implementing a new policy administration system and expanding to 16 states by the end of 2012.
