Fiserv Inc. has created a new organizational structure--and a new name--as part of its strategy to provide a comprehensive information technology offering to the insurance industry.
Fiserv Insurance Solutions combines the technology solutions from six former operational units--Fiserv Advanced Insurance Solutions, Fiserv Progressive Data Systems, Fiserv Specialty Insurance Service, Fiserv Freedom, Fiserv Fipsco and Fiserv Life Insurance Solutions - into a single organization. Fiserv Insurance Solutions will use the new name in its 2004 advertising campaigns and other events.
Tony Perdichezzi, President of Fiserv Insurance Solutions, said the new structure enables Fiserv to present one face to the insurance industry.
"Combining the strengths from our multiple companies into one organization presents us with an opportunity to provide end-to-end information technology solutions that deliver enhanced client satisfaction and service excellence," Perdichezzi said.
