Fox News Commentators To Address Insurance Conferences

Washington - Two conservative Fox News commentators, Bill O’Reilly and Morton Kondracke, are slated to speak at insurance industry conferences in the coming year.

O’Reilly is scheduled to address the Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America’s (Big “I”) National Legislative Conference & Convention April 27 in Washington.

Kondracke is to deliver the keynote address during the 2007 Federal Legislative Summit of the Alexandria, Va.-based National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) March 28-29, also in Washington.

O’Reilly, a best-selling author and syndicated columnist, is the host of The O’Reilly Factor on Fox cable television as well as The Radio Factor.

“A true motivator, O’Reilly is inspirational and, yes, controversial,” says Big “I” CEO Robert A. Rusbuldt.

Kondracke serves as co-host of the weekly The Beltway Boys on Fox cable television and appears on a nightly panel on Special Report with Brit Hume, also on Fox cable. He is the executive editor and a columnist for Roll Call, a Washington newspaper, and writes a twice-weekly syndicated column.

“Morton correctly predicted both major shifts in power that have occurred on Capitol Hill in the past 12 years,” says Len Brevik, PIA CEO and executive vice president.

The Big “I,” founded in 1896, is the nation’s oldest and largest national association of independent insurance agents and brokers, representing a network of more than 300,000 agents, brokers and their employees nationally.

PIA, founded in 1931, is a national trade association that represents insurance agents and their employees who sell and service all kinds of insurance, but specialize in coverage of automobiles, homes and businesses.
