WAUSAU LAUNCHES PAYMENT PROCESSING SOLUTION

WAUSAU Financial Systems (WFS), a Mosinee, Wis., provider of payment and remittance processing solutions, unveiled PremiumWorks, a new solution designed to meet the needs for premium payments to the insurance industry.

PremiumWorks is a premium processing solution from WAUSAU Financial Systems designed to drive an organization to lower unit costs through both labor and system management efficiencies, says the company. The solution also improves access to merging payment channels, reduces courier costs and account fees associated with deposits, provides instant access to customer correspondence and improves the overall customer service experience.

"By leveraging image-based capture and clearing methods in both central and branch/agent locations, insurers can speed payments processing and clearing, and improve float time," said Mike Tallitsch, VP of Corporate Solutions for WAUSAU Financial Systems.

"PremiumWorks speeds exception processing dramatically, thereby decreasing labor required for this back-office function," he added.

DUCK CREEK LAUNCHES NEW BILLING SOLUTION

Duck Creek Technologies, a Bolivar, Mo., provider of software and services for the insurance industry, announced its new Duck Creek Billing Solution. The Duck Creek Billing Solution is a Web-based .NET system designed to support the end-to-end billing process for all lines of property/casualty insurance. Further, the system is geared to streamline and automate the billing processes; and support and enhance customer relationship strategies.

Duck Creek Billing shares the same next-generation platform as Duck Creek Policy Administration and Rating Solution. It can be purchased with Duck Creek Policy Administration Solution, as a stand-alone billing solution, or integrated into an insurer's existing legacy or third-party system.
