GEICO has introduced an insurance app using Microsoft’s latest platform and operating system, Windows 8.
According to GEICO, the app enables customers to manage a policy, pay bills and view digital ID cards via Microsoft’s Surface tablets or Windows 8 PCs. The first phase of the app features bill presentment and payment, as well as digital insurance ID cards, with plans for additional enhancements and functionality in the future.
GEICO adds that its partnership with Microsoft represents a strategic investment to expand its presence in the mobile marketplace and extend new products and service offerings to consumers.
