GEICO Updates Emergency Road Service App

GEICO has updated its emergency road service (ERS) application to give drivers easier access to emergency road services.

GEICO says the ERS offers protection for many problems that typically are not handled by auto insurance coverage. GEICO customers no longer will need to search for a phone number or wait on hold to get help for situations such as being locked out of the car; jump starting a dead battery; changing a flat tire; towing or running out of gas. The GEICO app determines the driver’s location, and a GEICO counselor sends help to the area. The service is available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

The emergency road service functionality of the app is available for iPhone and Android platforms, says GEICO. The updated version includes ERS and other features.
