Global IQX, a provider of product development automation software for the group employee benefits and individual life and health insurance industries, has released Software Platform Version 4.6. The new version incorporates many improvements to its IQX Underwriting Workbench for employee benefits, individual and worksite products. Version 4.6 is a scalable, configurable and permission based, the company said.
The new version lets users produce complex quotes, such as multiple benefit definitions, and high numbers of calc groups, classes, divisions and lives, in less than a minute, said Global IQX. The application is the only system offering the technology required by group carriers on a single platform, plus the flexibility needed by individual carriers.
Features include Product Builder, which allows new products to be defined though a graphical user interface within a single .XML file that can be carried forward from business analysis to development; Formula Editor, which enables users to design and write formulae with features that support consistency and accuracy, said Global IQX. An additional feature is Global Import Management, which offers an import interface that can be used across the application.
