San Mateo, Calif. – While the industry has traditionally viewed billing as a back-office function, Guidewire’s newest version of its BillingCenter product takes advantage of the J3EE standard to enable insurers to move billing front and center, the company reports.
Available for immediate delivery, BillingCenter is currently in production and also is being implemented at six additional Guidewire client sites.
Guidewire BillingCenter 2.0 provides property/casualty insurers of all sizes with a modern, flexible system for managing the end-to-end billing process. BillingCenter manages both agency and direct bill plans, and accommodates the unique requirements of all lines of business—providing a high degree of versatility for an insurer. The system is developed in Java for the J2EE standard. BillingCenter shares a common platform with Guidewire’s ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter systems, and can be implemented as part of the Guidewire solution suite or easily integrated into an insurer’s existing environment or with other new applications.
