Guidewire Software Inc. has launched the Guidewire Live app, called ViewPoint, as well as upgrades to the Claim Canvas app. Also, a new feature, called Live Inside, has been released and serves as a delivery channel that embeds these apps within InsuranceSuite products.
The two new apps, ViewPoint and Claim Canvas, are cloud-based solutions and, according to Guidewire, can be implemented by Guidewire customers within days and without major implementation.
ViewPoint is designed to enable users to pinpoint and view a precise location, based on the latest mapping technology within their claims and/or policy workflow. Claim Canvas was designed for virtually visiting a particular time and location to visualize and filter data on a map.
Guidewire says ViewPoint and Claim Canvas are available for use by customers in production with ClaimCenter versions 6 and 7. ViewPoint is also available for use by PolicyCenter 7 customers.
