John "Jay" Woods has joined Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC, a global risk and reinsurance specialist, as co-chairman of the recently formed Mutual Company Specialty Practice.
Woods joins the company from Towers Watson, where he formerly was managing director of North American brokerage. Previously he was president of John P. Woods Company Inc. He will be based in New York and work with John Haldeman, the other co-chairman of the practice.
