Hamilton Health Care System, a Dalton, GA-based healthcare facilities operator, is implementing HR InTouch Marketplace from Benefitfocus to streamline delivery of insurance benefits to more than 1500 employees.
The cloud-based Benefitfocus solution provides Hamilton employees with a portal that allows them to view the benefit plans for which they are eligible, compare plan rates based on personal criteria such as tobacco use, and enroll in their plan-of-choice from their PCs or mobile devices.
The solution also gives Hamilton’s compensation managers the ability to define rules for employee eligibility and to track plan participation. It further streamlines benefits administration by synchronizing deductions with payroll systems and securely transmitting relevant HSA, FSA and HRA data to financial institutions.
Hamilton’s adoption of HR InTouch Marketplace reflects the need of benefits administrators to reduce the burden of communicating with employees about increasingly complex insurance plan choices—and of managing enrollment in those plans.
