Submitting endorsements to insurance policies from The Hartford just got faster and easier for the thousands of insurance agents who use an AMS agency management system from Windsor, Conn.-based AMS Services Inc. The Hartford, Conn.-based carrier now provides agents using TransactNOW, AMS' interface product, with the ability to submit policy changes without interrupting agency workflow. Agents no longer need to stop work and log into The Hartford's Electronic Business Center (EBC). With some insurance agencies now spending more than 50% their time processing endorsements, the endorsement requests capability also can boost agency productivity, according to Lisa Cox, senior vice president, eBusiness Technology Solutions at The Hartford. The new endorsement processing capability is available to agents who use any version of an AfW, Prime or Sagitta agency management system.
