AMI, a subsidiary of IAG, is using auto policy administration, billing and claims solutions from Exigen Insurance Solutions, a provider of core systems to insurers. The deployment is the first-stage introduction of a platform for managing AMI's motor, home, contents, farm and boat insurance policies.
AMI launched 23 classes of motor insurance on its platform, including private vehicle, commercial vehicle, motorcycle, motorhome and caravan, according to Exigen. The modernization project required replacement of in-house built legacy core systems and the installation of a modern framework.
The suite component solutions PolicyCore, BillingCore and ClaimCore were deployed in a package, said Exigen. That package includes product development, distribution management, rating, underwriting, business intelligence and reporting, customer relationship management, business process management, document generation and content management.
