Industrial Alliance Auto and Home Insurance, a life and health insurer serving Canada and the United States. has successfully deployed the EIS Suite. Formerly known as Exigen, the EIS Suite, will serve as the company’s new underwriting, policy administration, billing, claim and customer management platform for auto, homeowners’ and other personal lines of business for the company’s operations in Quebec.

Industrial Alliance Auto and Home Insurance (IAAH) deployed EIS as the cornerstone of a technology transformation, intended to help the insurer quickly develop and introduce new products to its distribution network and implement multi-channel customer service. IAAH also wanted to simplify its operational processes and IT architecture and decrease operational costs, EIS said.

The EIS platform is in production for new business across nine auto and six home insurance products, EIS said. Additional personal lines roll-outs will follow. In addition, 1.8 million account and customer records and 300k policy headers were migrated to the new system. The conversion of customer records enables IAAH to effectively manage customer information and communications for both new and existing customers within one system using EIS Suite’s CustomerCore solution for customer relationship and communications management, EIS said.
