Innovation Group Updates Analytics Software

The Innovation Group, a provider of BPO and software solutions to the insurance, fleet, automotive and property industries, has released a new version of Insurer Analytics, the business analytics component of its insurance suite.

New capabilities in Insurer Analytics include multi-measure/axis analysis, time series analysis, forecasting, integrated help system, a library of out-of-the-box (OOB) insurance analysis dashboards, KPIs and measures, and life-cycle analysis. Extensions to the Silverlight-based dashboard and portal providing browser-based delivery using the Microsoft BI platform are included.

Innovation says the upgrade is role-based, enabling business users to focus on their particular business areas. The data warehouse and OOB solutions cover analysis across major areas within an insurer. The primary design is for the business user, but the new version also supports the power user with more advanced analytical needs. The business has total control over the dashboards, charts and reports.

Insurer Analytics includes the business intelligence presentation layer, analytics, ETL and data warehouse/data mart components. The ETL solution provides integration with the Insurer Suite, while the analytical data warehouse design is targeted at policy and claims analysis.

Insurer Analytics is available bundled with Insurer Policy and Insurer Claims, or as a stand-alone solution.
