Intact Financial Corp., a Canadian home, auto and business insurer, has selected Guidewire’s BillingCenter to manage its billing operations. Guidewire said BillingCenter will help Intact improve its business processes, increase flexibility for new billing and payment plans and lower IT costs.
Intact selected BillingCenter to deliver a single, flexible alternative that could be maintained and adapted, Guidewire said. Intact plans to deploy BillingCenter in a phased implementation, starting with its direct billing in personal lines.
BillingCenter will enable Intact to improve self-service options, efficiently implement system changes and new programs and lower IT costs by simplifying and standardizing billing systems on a common platform, Guidewire said.
