ISO Acquires D2Hawkeye

ISO recently made an announcement it acquired D2Hawkeye Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. D2Hawkeye supplies information solutions, such as health care analytics, data mining, decision support, clinical quality analysis and risk analysis tools to the health care industry.

D2Hawkeye, headquartered in Waltham, Mass., has technology operations in South Asia, and builds and manages integrated medical and financial databases, applies its proprietary evidence-based medical rules and provides ASP-based interface for medical analytics and reporting.

“D2Hawkeye advances ISO’s leadership position in the health care analytics and predictive modeling market by providing proven tools to pinpoint and manage medical and financial risk across the health care continuum,” says Frank Coyne, ISO chairman, president and CEO. “With its current market traction in health care risk analysis, D2Hawkeye is a leading solution for medical analytics and predictive modeling, and a premier medical data-mining enterprise in the United States.”

D2Hawkeye will be combined with ISO’s other health care businesses as a new subsidiary under Verisk Health, according to ISO. Chris Kryder will lead the new subsidiary as CEO.
