Letter from the new editor-in-chief

Dear readers,

Processing Content

I am excited to officially join Digital Insurance as its new editor-in-chief. You may recognize my name and face from the past two months, when I've held this role in an interim capacity while getting to know the expert team of journalists who work here.

But I'm not new to them, nor to you. I've worked at our publisher, Arizent, for over two decades in various roles, including reporter and editor at American Banker and editor-in-chief at PaymentsSource. Most recently I was director of data services, managing all of our publications' transition into an AI-dominated era.

It's the same sort of transformation happening to the insurance industry right now. All aspects of the industry — claims, risk, customer relationships and more — are touched in some way by the fast and hard-hitting impact of AI. And that transformation is far from over.

Digital Insurance is changing in other ways, including a greater emphasis on data and market intelligence, with proprietary research from our in-house research team. We want you to think of us as an indispensable resource, delivering the news, analysis and intelligence that is most valuable to you in your career.

You'll also benefit from insights and predictions from industry leaders throughout our coverage and our InsureThink page. Being a reader means joining a vibrant and forward-thinking community.

I'm eager to join you on that journey. Connect with me at any time on LinkedIn or at daniel.wolfe@dig-in.com.
