Lloyd's North America President Resigns

Lloyd's North America is now on the hunt for a new president. LoriAnn Lowery has resigned from New York-based Lloyd's North America after a little more than a year on the job, the company said.

"LoriAnn resigned because of the travel commitments of her role," Lloyd's spokesman Bart Nash said. "We are looking to replace her as soon as possible, and to create a new liaison role in London that will focus on supporting managing agents and brokers with U.S. interests."

Lowery was hired in April 2008, assuming responsibility for all business operations across the United States and Canada, including business development and distribution; communications and marketing.
