Lockton Hires VP, Claims Counsel

Lockton Inc., a privately held insurance broker, has named Mark Weintraub as AVP and claims counsel in Lockton's Atlanta office.

Lockton says Weintraub’s background in complex litigation includes securities claims, breach-of-fiduciary-duty actions, tort and contract disputes, and products liability; he defended private equity firms and corporations. Weintraub also has worked for the law firm of Jones Day, first in Los Angeles and, most recently, in Atlanta.

Weintraub has been a guest lecturer for trial and appellate advocacy programs at Emory University School of Law and Loyola Law School, says Lockton. He is admitted to the bar in both California and Georgia.
