MassMutual Web Site Receives No. 1 Ranking

Springfield, Mass. - Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. (MassMutual), based in Springfield, garnered the top spot in DALBAR Inc.'s latest WebMonitor rankings of the best Web sites in the life insurance and annuity industry.FieldNet, the Web site for financial professionals produced by MassMutual, received an "Excellent" designation for the 9th straight quarter and earned 1st place for six of those quarters. 

The site contains two sections: Doing Business, which offers agents a variety of applications to assist them in their daily work, and Reference and Learning, which provides educational information about products, services and industry news.

DALBAR's WebMonitor program, established in 1999, tracks Web site improvements and innovations across the financial services industry. Boston-based DALBAR scores sites on a 100-point scale using several criteria, which are grouped into five broad categories: usability, function, content currency, consistency and behavior centricity.

In 2004, MassMutual released FieldNet Version 3.0 with an updated look, simpler navigation, enhanced search capabilities, faster response times and access to several new and exciting tools. Since that release, MassMutual has been at the top of the DALBAR rankings.
