Missouri Employers Mutual, a workers’ compensation insurer, has selected the RC Inspection software application to help streamline its loss prevention operations. RC Inspection is a product of Risk Control Technologies Inc., a company offering loss control software applications for insurers.

Risk Control Technologies offers a software application that automates the loss control process for insurance companies. The system is a web-based application combined with an off-line laptop/tablet application to streamline the field survey and service process, from request through to completion of the field work and report creation.

MEM also worked with Risk Control Technologies to integrate Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter data into the loss prevention system. The team also developed interfaces to integrate completed reports and letters from the loss prevention system into its imaging system nightly, along with batch print functionality for policyholders who prefer printed correspondence, rather than email. MEM is continuing to work with Risk Control Technologies to implement additional tools, such as dashboard views and a management reporting business intelligence tool.

“MEM is really a safety company that happens to sell workers compensation insurance, so having the best system in place to support that effort is critical,” said Tim Jackman, MEM’s VP of risk management and legal services. “We’re eager to begin using this system to better help our policyholders protect people and their bottom lines.”
