Mitchell Releases Decision Point 7.3

Mitchell, a provider of technology, connectivity and information solutions to the P&C claims and collision repair industries, has released Decision Point 7.3, a medical bill review and workflow solution for first- and third-party liability adjusters. Enhancements to the software application include improvements to usability and a focus on state-level compliance for Florida, Hawaii, Minnesota and New York.

Mitchell says an important addition to the product is the introduction of automated bill review options and support for Florida House Bill 119 (HB 119). The 7.3 release increases adjuster efficiency by automatically applying rules subject to HB 119 and built-in customizable options. This release augments the method of identifying duplicate bills. Other changes include updates to the Minnesota tax implementation and the New York NF-10 form configurability.

Decision Point and ClaimIQ create a comprehensive medical bill review and claims services suite, combining integrated, automated solutions and partner networks, says Mitchell. Decision Point automates claims handling and simplifies decision-making related to claims. ClaimIQ equips each adjuster with their own personal industry expert at key points in the claims handling process, enabling them to manage risk across three critical areas—investigation, evaluation and negotiation.
