Montgomery Insurance Wins Young Agents Award

A contributor to the future of the agent channel, Montgomery Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, won the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) Young Agents Company of the Year award.

During the recent Young Agents Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Chris Meinberg, Chairman of the IIANC’s Young Agents Committee, presented the Company of the Year Award to Nancy Newmister, regional VP, Montgomery Insurance. Jay Audino, regional sales manager, Gail Belvin, commercial lines territory manager, and Sean Wright, senior commercial lines underwriter, joined Nancy Newmister in representing Montgomery Insurance in North Carolina.

“For the second straight year, we are pleased to present Montgomery Insurance with our Young Agent Company of the Year award,” Meinberg said. “Their commitment to the independent agency system is recognized by agents across our state and is reflected in the strong relationships they establish and the consistent, quality services delivered by their regional office and field personnel.”

The award recognizes the company that rates highest among IIANC member young agents in the following categories: market availability; product delivery; claims settlement; marketing; product development; agency contracts; and overall agency-company relations.

“Two years in a row makes it twice as nice,” said Newmister. “We are honored by this recognition from North Carolina’s Young Agents. We are dedicated to creating franchise value for our agent partners. For them to differentiate in the marketplace, we commit to giving them the products and services to competitively meet their business customers’ needs.”
